Gangers

In Ambasamudram, Catherine Theresa (Sujitha) works as a teacher in a local school, and Singaram (Vadivelu) is the PT master there. One day, a bright but underprivileged student suddenly faints mysteriously. A fellow teacher suspects that the local bullies, Kottaiyarasan (Mime Gopi) and Malayaarasan (Aruldoss), are behind it and files a complaint. To investigate, a police officer is sent undercover — posing as a teacher at the same school.

Meanwhile, Mudiyaarasan (Harish Peradi) has stolen ₹100 crores from Minister Madhusudhan Rao and hidden it. The new PT master at the school, Saravanan (Sundar C), learns about this secret stash. He decides to form a `Gangers` squad to pull off a heist and loot the hidden money from Harish Peradi.

Was the missing student found?, Did the undercover officer take action against Kottaiyarasan and Malayaarasan? Did Sundar C`s Gangers squad succeed in stealing the ₹100 crores from Harish Peradi? Director Sundar C has presented this as a comedy-filled action thriller , mixing tension with laughs.

Actors like Vimal, Munishkanth, Mime Gopi, Bucks, Santhana Bharathi, Aruldoss, vani bhojan and others have all delivered performances that fit their roles well. Sathya`s songs are just average, but the background score adds punch to the scenes. The film runs for 2 hours and 40 minutes — it would have been sharper if trimmed down to just 2 hours.

If you are someone who doesn`t overthink logic and just wants to enjoy a funny, light-hearted movie, then Gangers is definitely for you.
