Nishanth, who works at a CCTV company in Trichy, falls in love with Gayathri after seeing her at a temple festival. Later, when he unexpectedly meets her again in Trichy, he talks to her, becomes close, and eventually confesses his love — but she rejects him. Heartbroken, Nishanth attempts suicide. Did his love succeed in the end? Debut director Vignesh Pandian presents this story as a mix of horror and comedy.
Nishanth and Gayathri deliver decent performances. Supporting actors Balaji Saravanan, ‘Naan Kadavul’ Rajendran, Singampuli, and ‘Lollu Sabha’ Maaran also perform well. However, the film is technically quite weak. What starts off as a love story suddenly turns into a ghost story — this Konjam Naal Poru Thalaiva.
