K. Bhagyaraj’s daughter, who is the child of an MLA, dies in a road accident. Without allowing a post-mortem, Bhagyaraj wants to take possession of her body immediately. For this, he seeks the help of rowdy Daniel Balaji. Daniel Balaji threatens Dr. Tanya Ravichandran—who is responsible for approving the post-mortem—to hand over the body without the necessary procedures, but she refuses.
This creates enmity between the two, and a major clash breaks out. An enraged Daniel Balaji decides to take revenge on Tanya. How does Tanya Ravichandran escape from his threats? And in the end, is Bhagyaraj able to take his daughter’s body without a post-mortem? Director J.P. delivers the film as a crime thriller.
Tanya plays a sincere doctor who loves her patients and is committed to her duty. She shines in emotional moments and performs the intense portions convincingly. Though Daniel Balaji is no longer with us, his performance is menacing and fitting for the role he plays. Bhagyaraj’s seasoned acting adds strength to the film. Ramalingam’s cinematography and Ghibran’s music support the film well.
Some scenes are not very convincing, and there are a few logical loopholes. Yet the film maintains good tension throughout. The climax delivers a surprising jolt.
