Detailed Review

Ashok (Sreekanth), while traveling with his wife and child in Ooty, gets into a confrontation with an oncoming driver. After the argument and scuffle, when he returns to his car, he finds that his child has gone missing.

Meanwhile, Mani (G. V. Prakash Kumar), while delivering goods from the pharmacy he works at, loses them. Angered by this, his owner, Chidambaram (Vettai Muthukumar), blackmails him by holding his lover captive and demands a ransom of 50 lakhs, threatening to leave only if the money is paid.

As a result, G. V. Prakash is given an assignment by Lingaa—to kidnap the child he mentions, who is none other than Ashok’s child, as introduced earlier in the film. The twist is that before they can kidnap the child, someone else has already done so. What happens next? Does the child get rescued or not? Does Mani find love or not? Director M. Maran turns this story into a crime thriller full of twists upon twists.

D. Imman and Sam C.S. provide musical support, with Sam C.S.`s background score and Gokul Pinai`s cinematography keeping the story moving. Even though the first half of the film has some logical flaws, it moves swiftly with several twists. In the second half, in the name of “twist,” the child is repeatedly swapped and kidnapped, which tires and frustrates the audience.

With multiple twists, this film works not just for thriller fans but also for family audiences.
