Nelson (Kavin), a guitarist, has no interest in love. One day at the park, he comes across a book through Sarah Williams (Preethi Asrani) that grants him a strange power. Just like Vivek`s character in Whistle could hear what women think, Nelson can now see the future of any couple who kisses in front of him.
Wanting to get rid of this unwanted gift, Nelson decides to return the book—but in the process, he falls in love with Preethi. When they finally share a kiss, Nelson sees a future he doesn`t like. Did Nelson continue his love with Preethi despite this? Director Satish Krishnan presents it as a comedy-fantasy entertainer.
Kavin shows growth as an actor compared to his previous films, especially in emotional breakup scenes. Preethi Asrani delivers a decent performance, though nothing extraordinary. The real show-stealers are RJ Vijay and VTV Ganesh, whose comic timing keeps the theatre filled with laughter. Supporting roles by Devayani, Kausalya, and Rao Ramesh are well-handled. Jen Martin`s background score works fine, though the songs are average. Harish Kannan`s cinematography adds the needed fresh look to the film.
The first half is moderately engaging, and while the interval twist raises the stakes, the second half fails to maintain the emotional intensity, making the film feel stretched.
