A shocking incident unfolds during a live television show when a man from the audience suddenly stands up and shoots the special guest in the leg. Within minutes, he takes complete control of the entire auditorium. Police surround the venue, and the attacker announces that he will kill five people over the next five days—revealing each victim’s name beforehand.

As a beginning to his deadly challenge, he declares that someone inside the auditorium will be killed within the next one hour and dares the authorities to stop him if they can. Time runs out. Whom did he kill? What happened next?

Vishnu Vishal is brought in to investigate this case. Was he able to solve it? Director Praveen K delivers this plot as a crime thriller.

Vishnu Vishal looks sharp as a police officer, but his constantly intense expression doesn’t quite suit him. Selvaraghavan appears throughout the film as the villain, almost like a second hero, but the way his character is written fails to create fear or tension. He has no strong challenges or action sequences. Shraddha Srinath appears only in a few scenes, and Manasa Chowdary—playing Vishnu Vishal’s wife—gets scenes that don’t add anything meaningful to the story. Jibran’s background score and Harish Kannan’s cinematography help maintain some pace.

Except for the first thirty minutes, most of the film follows a predictable thriller pattern. The villain’s murders and motivations don’t feel convincing.

Overall, Aaryan – a routine thriller with no standout moments or gripping sequences.
