A businessman divides all his wealth among his heirs before his death. But he writes one particular apartment only in the name of a woman called Alakiya and then passes away. Not knowing who this Alakiya is, his sons approach High Court Judge Sonia Agarwal with a woman claiming, “I am Alakiya,” in hopes of claiming that property as well. Suspicion arises on the woman, and Police Sub-Inspector Vikrant is assigned to investigate the truth. Was the real Alakiya found? Why did the businessman write the will in her name? Director S. Sivaraman presents this as a crime thriller.
Sonia Agarwal carries the film strongly with her performance as a judge — her expressions, body language, and dialogue delivery convincingly portray a real judge. Alakiya, the lead actress, performs naturally and conveys emotions beautifully through her eyes. Vikrant does his part well as the Sub-Inspector.
Saurabh Agarwal’s music and songs are decent. D. S. Prasanna’s cinematography is neat — especially in the court and song sequences. Though the story and screenplay are engaging, the reason behind Alakiya receiving the property becomes predictable, reducing the suspense.
